Masteel supplies high quality carbon steel plate for boiler and pressure vessel fabrication. We design this plate for the demanding standards of the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. That is why we stock an extensive range of carbon plate to ASTM A516 Grade 70.

ASTM A516 Grade 70 suits lower than ambient temperature service. It offers excellent notch toughness and reliable performance in pressure vessels and industrial boilers. Compared with ASTM A516 Grade 65, Grade 70 gives greater tensile strength and higher yield strength. It also works in even lower temperature service conditions.

ASTM A516 Grade 70 is a dependable choice for critical projects. Fabricators use it where quality, traceability and consistent performance matter. The grade is trusted in environments that require pressure integrity, toughness and strict certification standards.

We can also supply plate in a wide range of thicknesses and sizes. This helps customers choose the right Grade 70 plate for both standard and specialist applications, with in-house profiling available to support exact project requirements.

We supply our plates with mill certification to EN10204 3.1 or EN10204 3.2. We fully trace every plate, and usually hard stamp it. We also welcome third-party or customer inspection where required. We can arrange this when maetiral has been purchased.
