What is Chromium Molybdenum Steel?

These standards both cover a high-quality chromium molybdenum steel, which is ideal for use in pressure vessels.
They have a nominal chromium content of 1.00% and a nominal molybdenum content of 0.50%. The tensile strength of these steels is 65-85 ksi with a yield strength of 40 ksi.
